On our way to Hwange

We checked out and left our homes in Bulawayo so that we can make out way to Hwange where our lodge is actually inside of the safari game park. The ride was long but worth it. On our way we stopped at the halfway house for lunch and a few games of pool. Once we arrived in Hwange we immediately went to the painted dog conservation center where we learned how people are trying to prevent the extinction of these beautiful animals. Driving up to our lodge we were greeted with fruit drinks, dancing, drumming and animals already at the watering hole directly behind our rooms. We have seen elephants, impalas, monkeys, and birds! In the morning we are of for an eight hour safari.
